Fargo Casts Mary Elizabeth Winstead for Season 3

Fargo had a pretty good 1st season but with season 2 it only got much better and the limited series is going to go on with at least another season. As you might already know, the show got 18 Emmy Award nomination this year.

Season 3 will be produced by Noah Hawley (its director) and Joel and Ethan Coen (the producers of the original 1996 movie – which is the basis of the series) and it will premiere next year. Casting works have been going on and actors like Ewan McGregor (American Pastoral) and Carrie Coon (The Leftovers) were cast for some of the main characters. Now, it seems another Hollywood actress will be joining these.

FX made an official press release stating that  Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane, BrainDead) was cast for season 3 of Fargo and her character would be Nikki Swango  “a crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge playing”.  We will keep you updated  with more news about Fargo, follow us on social media to get all the updates!
