AMC to Have an 88-hour The Walking Dead Marathon Before the New Season Premiere

The Walking Dead has been around for 6 years now. With its ups and downs, we watched the show from some kind of thriller into something great with a lot of character development and amazing narrative. The storyline never was weak in The Walking Dead owing to the fact that it is adapted from actual written sources, namely Robert Kirkman’s comic books.

Season 7 will open with the big reveal many fans are dying to know, the answer to the question “Who did Negan kill at the end of season 6 ?” To be honest, it was an exaggeration on the producers’ side, it was too much of a cliffhanger and the fans were right to voice their hate about it.

Streaming platforms like Netflix are a big help when fans want to do a TV series marathon at any time they like, however, some fans are looking to the networks owning that specific TV series. AMC heard that and decided that they want to broadcast a marathon of 83 prior episoıdes of The Walking Dead before the premiere of season 7. It will also have a 2-hour special episode looking at the ucoming season.
