Uncharted Movie Release Date Moved

Video game movies have never done so well in Hollywood and it can also be said that this year is no exception with Warcraft, a long-awaited movie not really satisfying hardcore Warcraft fans. There’s still hope for the Assassin’s Creed movie starring Michael Fassbender but we will have to wait to see it before deciding.

There are many more video game movies in development right now actually such as The Division with Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain,  Rampage with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Tomb Raider with Alicia Vikander and a Pokemon movie. Uncharted was also among these projects but it might be a little bit delayed according to what we read.

Sony removed Uncharted (to be released on June 30, 2017) from their list of release dates. As you might already know, the movie already did not have a star or a director while Joe Carnahan stated that he would be writing the script. For the lead actor role, Mark Wahlberg, Nathan Fillion (our pick) and Chris Pratt were targeted previously.

Looks like we are going to have to wait till 2018 to see the Uncharted movie, fingers crossed!
