Suicide Squad Soundtrack Just Went Gold

Suicide Squad was one of the biggest hits of summer at the box office if not the biggest. David Ayer movie portraying DC’s Task Force X did very well indeed it was almost immediately guaranteed that there will be a Suicide Squad sequel.
THR now reports that Suicide Squad soudntrack just went gold by selling more than 500,000 copies which also earned it the top place in this year’s best-selling soundtrack list. When you think that the movie was released less than two months ago, this is a very good performance for the soundtrack.

With its use of artists like Credence Clearwater Revival, Eminem, The White Stripes and Skrillex together, Suicide Squad managed to address a wide variety of genres AND generations, indeed.

Some original pop tracks were used in the movie, too. “Heathens” by Twenty One Pilots and the “Purple Lamborghini” by Skrillex and Rick Ross are the two examples for that.
