Netflix Casts Cobie Smulders for Their New Show

The streaming giant Netflix is in the works of a new TV show called Friends from College. The new comedy series will be focused on friends all of whom studied and met each other at Harvard now nearing their 40s and dealing with all kinds of personal and professional drama.

Cobie Smulders (Robin from How I Met Your Mother) and Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) just joined the cast of Friends from College in addition to Fred Savage (the Grinder), Nat Faxon (Married), Annie Parisse (Vinyl) and Jaeh Suh Park (the Mindy Project).

The series will be created by the couple Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Francesca Delbanco and it is supposed to be comprised of eight episodes. While the show, all episodes of which will be directed by Stoller himself,  will beging production works this fall season, the premiere date has not been announced by Netflix as of now.
