Gendry Returns to Game of Thrones to Play an Important Part

We have been giving you spoiler news about the season 7 of Game of Thrones for a while now ( thanks largely to the great work of folks at Watchers on the Wall) and things seem to unravel more with every revelation about the casting and filming choices.

Whereabouts of Gendry has been a big question in the minds of every Game of Thrones‘ fan. The bastard son of late King Robert Baratheon. The last we see him he was rowing away from Melisandre who has been “experimenting” a little bit with his life.

We have already gave you the news about actor Joe Dempsie, who plays Gendry in Game of Thrones, was photographed in Belfast, Ireland (a filming location for the show).

Now, a new report by Spanish GoT fan site  Los Siete Reinos  confirms that Gendry will not only return but play an important role in season 7. Gendry was seen with the characters to take part at Stark and Targaryen meeting at Dragonstone.

He might take part in this meeting as the heir to House Baratheon or as the blacksmith that might make some magic happen against the Whitewalkers like forging Valyrian steel to beat them as the former apprentice of one of few blacksmiths in Westeros who knew how to forge Valyrian steel.

On a side note, other reports say that Tyrion Lannister and Ser Davos Seaworth will also meet for the first time during this season.
