Game of Thrones New: Lyanna Mormont Will Be Back for Season 7

One of the best surprises in Game of Thrones’ season 6 was Bella Ramsey’s portrayal of Lyanna Mormont, the little but fierce lady of the Bear Island. Lyanna Mormont’s commitment to Starks and leadership skills in spite of her age made her a fan-favorite character immediately. Let us not forget that speech she gave rallying all the Northern lords to follow Jon Snow’s lead.

Mormont’s role in the season didn’t end there though, with her going on to give a rousing speech that helped to convince all of the other Northern lords to pledge their service to Jon, as the new King in the North. Thanks to some new set photos from the show’s season 7 production, we now have confirmation that Ramsey will be reprising her role as Mormont in Game of Thrones‘ highly anticipated return next year.

Jon Snow became the new King in the North thanks to Lyanna but it seems like her job on the show did not end there. Some new photos taken from the set by PAP4U which show Bella Ramsey exiting her trailer on set in Northern Ireland in her Game of Thrones costumes confirm that she will be in the seventh season.

The images were taken around the same time that Kit Harington, Gwendoline Christie, Liam Cunningham and some other stars in Game of Thrones were confirmed to be there. This might also be a confirmation that Lyanna Mormont will be in the next season. In which role or to which extent, we have no idea right now. Follow us on social media to get more Game of Thrones season 7 news!
