American Crime Story Renewed for a 3rd Season About Versace Murder

American Crime Story is surely one of the most important new TV series of 2016. As the producer Ryan Murphy did a great job as in all his cooperation with FX and FX renewed the show for a second season. The second season will be about the Hurricane Katrina and will focus on the disaster from all sides. There are not much details revealed about the second season other than this but looks like the show already secured its future with FX.

According to Deadline, American Crime story was reneed by FX for a third season even before the start of its second. The third season will be telling the story of Versace murder in 1997. The season will be titled “Versace/Cunanan” and focus on serial killer Andrew Cunanan killing Gianni Versace, the acclaimed fashion designer. The source material for this third season will be Maureen Orth’s book called Vulgar Murders. The third season is expected to be filmed during the same time with the second one.
