J.R.R. Tolkien Biopic Movie Found Its Director

 

J.R.R. Tolkien is one of the biggest names that played a role in today’s fantasy world of cinema. His works The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit series are among the masterpieces of fantasy literature and the movies only made his impact stronger on the audiences of today.

That being said, ont many things are known about Tokien himself. A lot of scholars drew parallels between his own life and his works however no movies have been made on his life. Well, it turns out the fantasy genius will finally get the fame he deserves.

According to Deadline, a biopic movie named Middle Earth is in development stage and James Strong’s name is mentioned in relation to the movie the script of which will be written by Angus Fletcher. Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne will produce the movie along with Rachel Horovitz (Moneyball).

The film will focus on Tolkien’s life around the time he met his wife, Edith Bratt. This coincides with time Tolkien had to fight in World War I. This experience of his is rumored to be reflected in his works by experts.
