Mission Impossible 6 Settles Its Issues, Start Date Announced

You may not like Tom Cruise very much or at all, but there is a certain success to Mission: Impossible franchise. It has grossed almost $1 billion domestically for its first 5 films between the years of 1996 and 2015.

With Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol in 2011, a movie that grossed almost $700 million worldwide, it was guaranteed that the franchise will get a fifth movie and Tom Cruise returned as Ethan Hunt in 2015 with Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation . Rogue Nation delayed its release until July to avoid competition with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The movie grossed more than $680 million worldwide and was suscessful indeed.

These events caused a sixth movie in the franchise to be a certain thing. This also gave Tom Cruise the bargaining position and recently, it was rumored that he and Paramount Pictures  did not agree on payments, yet.

Now, however, things seems to have settled quite nicely and the money dispute was solved. According to THR , the sixth movie will start filming in the Spring of 2017. Fingers crossed for the next movie to be as good as the ones before!
