John Wick 3 Scheduled to Film Before the 2nd Movie Hits Theatres

When John Wick was released in 2014, no one expected that kind of a turnout and especially to have such a hardcore fan club with just one movie and it was a surprise hit. John Wick focused on a retired hitman played by Keanu Reeves who was hell bent on avenging the murder of his dog. It was a good chance for Reeves to return to be an action hero.

The movie grossed $43 domestically and almost the same amount worldwide which made the sequel more than a possibility. John Wick: Chapter Two will be released in FEbruary 2017 but the interesting news is the third movie is already in the development stage.

John Wick’s co-director Chad Stahelski spoke at New York Comic-con 2016 and told Collider  that the third movie of John Wick franchise is already being developed. For the uninformed Common, Ruby Rose, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, Bridget Moynihan and Laurence Fishburne will star alongside Keanu Reeves in the second movie. Stahelski will be the one and only director ofJohn Wick: Chapter Two. Here are Stahelski’s words on John Wick 3:

“The studio has asked us to put our heads together and see if we can come up with something. Winston’s [McShane] is a big part of the next one, so is Lance Reddick. We’ve got some ideas.”
