John Barrowman Wants to Return as Jack Harkness

When we say John Barrowman, all minds will go to Arrow and the Dark Archer (AKA Malcolm Merlyn), however, long-time TV show fans know which role made him famous. It was his role as Jack Harkness in Doctor Who spin-off  Torchwood. Torchwood ended in 2011 and Barrowman made appearances in Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

Doctor Who will be returning to TV one year after a break for a 10th season and Barrowman seems like he would like to appear in Doctor Who as Harkness.

According to The Radio Times , the actor has a “special deal” that would allow him to return to Doctor Who and he is eager to do that. The actor also confirmed his bosses in The CW are eager to let him join Doctor Who if the chance comes.

Barrowman about his potential return:

“The answer is always absolutely. It’s a show and genre that changed my life. I love it dearly and if I’m asked I would do it at the drop of a hat. And also my producers here in the US for the show I’m on at the moment, Arrow, they’ve said, ‘If that did happen, we’d let you do it’. I would love to do it, and I do know that there’s a huge fanbase.”
