Alfred Hitchcock Anthology is Being Brought to TV

Alfred Hitchcock is certainly one of the best directors in the history of film. With more than 50 feature movies he directed such as Psycho, The Birds, Vertigo and Rear Window, Hitchcock was known as the master of suspense.

In line with the latest trend of famous movies and some old TV series being resurrected , studios are looking for properties with existing fan bases. Hithcock’s works are mong those and Universal Cable Productions is developing an anthology TV series named Welcome To Hitchcock based on Alfred Hitchcok’s works.

Welcome to Hitchcock is an original anthology series which will be “a single season-long mystery or crime in the spirit of the classic Hitchcock style and legacy.”  Dawn Olmstead, Universal Cable Productions Executive Vice President of Development made the following statement about the project:

“Long after his death, Alfred Hitchcock continues to be one of the most celebrated directors and visionaries in the world, a master manipulator of the macabre. We’re honored that the Hitchcock Estate has put its trust in our studio to pay homage to his work.”
