Johny Depp and Other Important Names Joined Murder on the Orient Express Remake

Murder on the Orient Express remake production team was in talks with Angelina Jolie, however, the star passed on the role ending in a setback for the whole production schedule. But the movie came back strong. It has been reported that Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer joined the cast. These two names were rumored at first but the confirmation came today. If you think this is all, well, it certainly is not. There are some other famous names confirmed to be in the cast of Murder on the Orient Express reboot.

Daisy Ridley (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and veteran actress Judi Dench, (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) also joined the cast. That being said, these actors will all join Kenneth Branagh, the director, who will be playing the role of Hercule Poirot. Johnny Depp will act as Rachett, Michelle Pfeiffer will play the role of Mrs. Hubbard, Ridley will be playing Mary Debenham while Dench will be playing the role of Princess Dragomiroff.

Some other, less famous names added to the cast are : Lucy Boynton (Sing Street) as Countess Andrenyi; Tom Bateman (Da Vinci’s Demons) as Bouc; Derek Jacobi (Gladiator) as Masterman; Michael Pena (Ant-Man) as Marquez and Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton) as Doctor Arbuthnot.
