Jai Courtney Joins Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later

Australian actor Jai Courtney is doing well for himself lately with catching roles in big movies. He recently played Captain Boomerang in the latest hit of the DC Extended Universe, Suicide Squad and before that he appeared in Die Hard and Terminator franchises.

He also appeared in Jack Reacher starring Tom Cruise in 2012 and two of the Divergent movies. These were all action and drama roles but the actor seems like he will try something different this time. He just joined the cast of Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later series by Netflix.

This series will be a sequel to Netflix’s original series called Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (which is a prequel to the movie named Wet Hot American Summer). The production already started with the entire cast and crew  of both First Day of Camp and the movie returning to Camp Firewood. According to the latest news, Alyssa Milano (Charmed) joined director David Wain and co-creator Michael Showalter for the sequel series. Deadline now reports that Courtney joined to play Garth MacArthur, suitor for Amy Poehler’s character Susie in Ten Years Later.
