Arrow has been a subject of speculation for a long time now and things have not been going well for the show to be perfectly honest. Screenwriting started to seem weaker in the 4th season, things got cofused, villains got weak while even Neil Mcdonough’s solid performance as Damien Darhk could not save the show. Complaints were made by many fans, however, there still is a little hope for it, maybe, since the creators and the cast kind of promised as darker Arrow in the 5th season – which is where the show actually shone bright in the past. We are going to have to wait and see.
Season 5 of Arrow will feature some important names like Dolph Lundgren (The Expandables or Ivan Drago in Rocky IV). Lundgren will star as a Russian mob boss in Oliver’s flashbacks while David Nykl will also return to the show as Anatoly Knyazev, Oliver Queen’s friend and Solntsevskaya Bratva’s leader.
Some stills have been published for Arrow’s Season 5 and in addition to these characters we mentioned above, these still also include Season 5’s villain, Prometheus. As Marc Guggenheim, the show’s creator said, this character is not related to Prometheus in the comic book universe and is a new one, another mysterious archer fighting against the Green Arrow. That is also getting old, if you ask me. Still, fingers crossed for the 5th season.
